Promotions & coupon terms

These terms explain how Studymaxx coupons, promo codes, and offers apply to your orders — including eligibility, usage limits, and how discounts behave when an order is cancelled or returned.

How coupons and offers work

From time to time Studymaxx runs coupons, promo codes, and offers. These general terms apply to all of them. A specific campaign may add its own conditions, which are shown with that offer.

Applying a coupon

Enter a valid promo code at cart or checkout. If the code is eligible for your order, the discount is shown before you pay. Only one coupon can be applied to an order.

Coupon types

Coupons are either a percentage discount or a fixed-amount (₹) discount, as defined for each code. Percentage coupons may have a maximum discount cap.

When a coupon applies

Minimum order value

Some coupons require a minimum order value. If your order is below that value, the coupon will not apply until the requirement is met.

Validity window

Each coupon has a validity period. A coupon cannot be used before its start date or on/after its expiry date.

Product restrictions

Some coupons apply only to specific books or titles. In those cases, the discount is calculated only on the eligible items in your cart.

Maximum discount

For percentage coupons with a cap, the discount will not exceed the stated maximum amount, even if the percentage would otherwise be higher.

Usage limits and fair use

Per-customer limit

Many coupons can be used only a limited number of times per customer, tracked by your account and email. Once you reach the limit, the code will no longer apply.

Total usage cap

Some coupons have an overall redemption cap across all customers. Once that cap is reached, the coupon is closed — even if it has not yet expired.

One offer per order

A coupon cannot be combined with a referral discount on the same order. You may use either a coupon or a referral discount, not both.

Held briefly at checkout

When you apply a coupon, its discount is reserved for a short time while you complete payment. If checkout is abandoned, the reservation is released so the coupon is available again.

Cancellations, returns, and refunds

A coupon reduces what you pay for an order; it is not a cash balance or a transferable credit.

Refunds reflect what you paid

If you cancel or return an order placed with a coupon, any refund is based on the discounted amount you actually paid — not the pre-discount price.

Coupons are not returned as cash

The value of a coupon is not refunded as money. A one-time coupon that was consumed on a cancelled order may be released back where the system supports it, but coupons have no cash value.

Reversal on cancellation

When an order is cancelled or returned, the coupon redemption tied to it is reversed in our records, consistent with the refund processed for that order.

Misuse and changes

No abuse of codes

Coupons are for genuine personal use. Reselling codes, using unauthorized or expired codes, or manipulating orders to exploit an offer is prohibited.

We may void misuse

Studymaxx may decline, cancel, or reverse a coupon or order where we detect fraud, error, or abuse, including pricing or code errors.

We may update offers

Studymaxx may add, change, pause, or withdraw coupons and offers at any time. Campaign-specific terms shown with an offer apply in addition to these general terms.

These terms supplement our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation policy.
